The weather seems to be holding, with cold conditions and sunny intervals all day yesterday and today. Gaz Parry has climbed 8Ball, the Font 8B sit start to Full Power at Gardoms. Gaz had managed Full Power (Font 8A) on Sunday and quickly dispatched 8Ball yesterday, suggesting a grade of Font 8A+. Check out his Blog for regular updates of what he´s up to, including a photo of Ben Moon almost topping out on Super Bloc, an E8 7a put up a few years ago by Miles Gibson at nearby Moorside Rocks. Ben has been trying the route groud-up above plenty of pads, with James Pearson. Talking of James he´s posted a fairly detailed account of his ascent of The Promise, E10 7a, on Sunday at UKBouldering. I wonder what the Aussie´s are up to tonight 😉
