£1M extra Lottery cash for Scottish footpaths

The Heritage Lottery Fund has made available £1 million of cash to fund a five-year programme of path repair, it has been announced. The money will be used to maintain upland footpaths across Scotland to give walkers and climbers better access to Scottish mountains.Six mountainous properties will benefit – Glencoe, Ben Lawers, Ben Lomond, Goatfell, Torridon, and Kintail.
