Glenmore Lodge ? the National Mountain Centre for Scotland ? has just launched a new, free downloadable game called SpotChecks in Avalanche Awareness. SpotChecks in Avalanche Awareness is a free computer based quiz aimed at everyone who goes into the hills in winter. It will confirm that you know your stuff, or let you know the areas in which you should do more thinking.It?s a genuinely excellent test of your mountain knowledge and highly recommend to anyone, whether a climber or skier, who spends time in the Mountains in winter.
