Trip hop, 8C, by Robinson

Paul Robinson had a great day at Fontainebleau today (February 7). When I talked to him this morning, the conditions looked bad and hopes weren't high, but he was heading out anyway, eager to do something. As is so often the case, it gradually got better and Paul managed to do both SÃbastien Frigault's Trip Hop, 8C, and Antoine Vandeputte's Bleu SacrÃ, 8A+/B.According to Bleau.info, this was the 3rd ascent of Trip Hop, after Sebastien and the German ghost from the 90-ties, Thomas Willenberg. The problem starts 2m left of Hip Hop and traverses into it: “This climb has some really amazing moves and is just over 20 moves long. It is the extension to Hip Hop assis 8b/+. The climb for me is about a 7c+/8a traverse into hip hop assis. the climb is given 8c trav and for me it feels like hard 8c trav/easy 8c boulder.”Here's a video of Olivier Lebreton making the 3rd(?) ascent of Bleu SacrÃ:Paul Robinson has several sponsors including La Sportiva, prAna and Black Diamond Diesen Artikel inkl.
