Brit Claire Murphy has climbed V11 with her repeat of the curiously named ´Sarah sit-start´ at Hueco Tanks, according to planetfear.com.This was shortly after US powerhouse, Lisa Rands sent the problem.The grade roughly translates to Font 8a says Rands, a suggestion backed up by Bishop-based Naomi Guy, when quizzed by planetfear about how the V grade compares to Font grades.No problem has been climbed in the UK of this difficulty by a British woman, and, with Airlie Anderson recently starring on the front cover of a popular magazine bouldering at Bishop, it seems like the US is where it´s at for UK women´s bouldering.
