The new Sunderland wall is due to opne on the 18 January 2003.At 23m, the main leading wall will be the highest in the UK and will be used in round 2 of the British Indoor Climbing Competition on 8 February.Other facilities at the centre include a bouldering wall, cafe and lecture room.The wall is located two minutes from Pallion Metro Station.A map with directions and more details about the development of the wall is available at http://www.smartboysonline.co.uk/sunderland_wall.htm
